Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai beats Aamir Khan's Dangal and Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale – here's how
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's action thriller film Tiger Zinda Hai has turned out to be the biggest hit of 2017 having collected more than Rs 280 crore at the Indian box-office in its 12-day run. The Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film is still going strong and if trade experts are to be believed, it will go past the Rs 300 crore mark by the end of its third weekend..
Meanwhile, Tiger Zinda Hai has set a new record. In Republic of Fiji, where Salman enjoys a massive fan following, the film has emerged the highest grosser ever with collections of $ 392,502. TZH has beaten Aamir Khan's Dangal, Ajay Devgn's Golmaal Again, his own Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale to claim the top spot.

Tiger Zinda Hai, that boasts of high-octane action sequences, has been shot in stunning locations of Austria, Morocco, Liwa Desert and Abu Dhabi. It is made on a staggering budget of Rs 150 crore and is one of the costliest films to have come out of Yash Raj Films, the producers. A sequel to the 2012 espionage thriller Ek Tha Tiger, TZH earlier opened to average reviews from critics. Nonetheless, it has remained consistent in its superb performance at the box-office ever since its release on December 22, 2017.
